CSC ServiceWorks Business Development Manager in Austin, Texas

CSC is deliberately moving into the high growth “wash-dry-fold” vertical where consumers receive the ultimate in convenience and service – having their laundry done for them and at an affordable price point. These days, people want to save time, especially when it comes to tasks like laundry. Over the past year we have designed and piloted the “Wash-Dry-Fold” model with success and plan to expand and grow this business rapidly. Our pursuit of wash-dry-fold is rooted in meeting consumer demand and doing so with a winning business model that leverages our existing fixed assets.

As a Business Development Manager in the Wash Dry Fold (WDF) business, you’ll be an important part of launching a NEW business venture!!

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER POSITION SUMMARY:

Partnering with Route Sales Team, working together to expand your clients business performance through the launch of the Wash/Dry/Fold business, ensuring customer retention and growth, while prospecting/developing new client relationships.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Model, evaluate, and recommend WDF business to current and prospective clients.

  • Working within the “2 in a Box” model, conduct customer business reviews.

  • Determine future capital investment required and develop plan to implement.

  • Negotiate for favorable terms based on projected sales volume.

  • Communicate pricing and service strategies.

  • Maintain key account information in the CRM.

  • Collaborate with internal groups to ensure sustained growth and account management.

  • Collaborate with operations to confirm readiness to launch WDF business (site review, equipment set up, team member resourcing).

  • Ensure effective hand off of WDF business to CLR representative for ongoing account maintenance.

  • Ensure consistent revenue stream through renewal and new sales opportunities.

  • Communicate to/work with manager to resolve unique customer concerns/issues.

  • Provide support for overflow customer service needs.

  • Participate in training new Route Sales team on WDF business.

In this role, you’ll need:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; and 5-7 years business-to-business sales and prospecting experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to lead and manage various aspects of sales process – from retaining to renewing – using relationship building and solution-based selling skills

  • Ability to establish credibility with clients and optimize and expand existing relationships

  • Entrepreneurial, forward-thinking mindset and motivation to rapidly build new business

  • Ability to advocate for clients and business partners

  • Strong interpersonal skills, bias to action and ability to tackle challenges with creative and timely solutions

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Working familiarity of Salesforce, marketing tools and various go-to-market strategies

  • A successful track record of presenting information effectively and professionally one-on-one and in small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office
