As a Business Development Representative , you’ll be an important part of what works.
You will be responsible for sourcing and identifying new accounts. This position will have general understanding of overall business including market trends and analytics. You will provide consulting and interpretation of market and consumer/customer research data to the organization. Your days will include
Conducting independent research
Placing initial phone calls to qualify and warm up leads and generate interest
Prospecting, cold calling, and making appointments with new leads in designated sales territories.
Qualifying leads, identifying decision makers and determining the buying potential of prospects
Generating a high volume of outbound cold calls in an effort to find new opportunities
Follow-up calls to prioritized leads and ensuring customer follow up via literature, email, call or appointment
Collaborating with the sales team to set appointments between the warm leads and sales
Providing accurate data entry and sales reporting (using Salesforce)
Contributing to department goals by meeting individual goals

In this role, you’ll need:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Bachelor’s degree preferred with a minimum of 2 years of proven success in sales b2b solutions.
Experience prospecting for new clients and the ability to engage people over the phone and identify decision makers
Strong multitasking skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and oral communication skills
Excellent presentation skills and the ability to effectively and professionally present information to all types of audiences throughout the organization.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
The ability to demonstrate product value quickly;
Skilled at working as part of a team and independently.
The ability to build strong relationships with the outside sales team
Self-motivated and self-sufficient, while having the confidence to seek guidance and direction as needed
