As a Manager Indirect Procurement you’ll be an important part of what works.

In this newly created role, you will be responsible for participating in and leading the development and implementation of Best in Class sourcing strategies for key indirect categories of telecom, travel, office suppliers, fleet, safety, uniform, rent, and computer equipment. Your days will include:

  • Leading the development and implementation of short- and long-term sourcing strategies for indirect procurement categories to achieve year over year productivity goals

  • Identifying technologies and techniques that will translate into lower total cost and volume and improved supplier terms

  • Identifying and utilizing best practices focused on rate reduction, volume optimization, and policy compliance to support the business to achieve its cost out and margin objectives.

  • Developing top key supplier strategies, RFP’s, and executing on negotiating best terms for the relevant buying categories

  • Developing/driving compliance of key categories policies

  • Providing subject matter expertise as needed in all indirect categories including contract, policies, identification of new sources of supply, new supplier programs, and supplier management

  • Continuously analyzing and developing category spend & savings reports to compare year over year and monthly spend trends in key indirect categories

  • Managing the spend analytics tool and continuous spend stratification for the business

  • Developing and implementing enterprise-wide indirect purchasing policies, processes and SOPs that drive sourcing strategy compliance throughout the organization

  • Developing and communicating monthly compliance reports with key members of the functional and branch leadership teams

  • Tracking and driving continuous collaboration and transparency with regional operations team members

  • Ensuring full alignment and compliance with the indirect purchasing policies sourcing strategy while achieving the regional cost out objectives

In this role, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration; or 3-5 years strategic sourcing/sourcing analysis experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Previous experience in indirect procurement categories

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office skills.

  • Change agent, strategic thinker, and influencer

  • Data driven with excellent analysis skills

  • Customer-focused

  • Ability to effectively and professionally present information one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
