CSC ServiceWorks merchant process analyst in Plainview, New York

Position Summary:

Primary responsibility is to provide high-level administrative support and serve as the liaison between the Treasury team, internal teams, and external clients.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Support posting of monthly credit card revenue from various merchant processors. Ensure proper merchant account setup.

  • Monitor and review location revenue. Troubleshoot and resolve errors.

  • Assist in communicating with banks, armored carriers, and CSC branches to locate missing revenue.

  • Support teams in the processing of banking, treasury, and/or merchant information.

  • Perform reconciliations of treasury related data.

  • Oversee funding of accounts, including responding to requests for incoming fund confirmation.

  • Post Treasury month-end journal entries and inter-departmental reporting.

  • Manage retention records and department guidelines.

  • Open and close bank accounts, including updating bank account signatories.

  • Assist in writing and updating Treasury procedures and guidelines. Establish and document process flows.

  • Collaborate on process improvement and automation projects.

  • Respond to inquiries from banking partners, internal teams, and/or external clients.

  • Other duties assigned

Required Education & Experience:

  • Associate’s degree and 1-3 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to negotiate with external vendors

  • Ability to read, interpret, and understand documents such as operating instructions and procedures manuals

  • Proven ability to write correspondence including broader memos or group e-mails

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to manage multiple assignments independently and effectively

  • Proven ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
